About

This blog is conceived of as a learning tool – for me, for my students, for anyone who wants to read it or to contribute to it (if you want to contribute, just comment on a post and we’ll get in touch).

About the author

I’m Alexandra M. Korey, art history professor turned pro blogger and social media marketer. I’ve worked with clients in cultural tourism, artisanal, and arts editorial sectors, and helped developed proposals for an archaeological site, an opera venue and more. In recent years I’ve been closely following the museum marketing and wider arts marketing sector as a hobby; now I have the opportunity to further research and teach it, and hopefully soon apply it to my own clients.

Sorry Carolina, this blog is inactive so I did not see your question. I did not study marketing anywhere, but work in the field and combined work experience with reading online and speaking with museums to come up with my own curriculum. I am not currently teaching this material anywhere.
